DEFINING ELEMENTS

 The general terms and conditions outlined below apply to all sales of goods and services by Mammut Wood Shop, through the online store www.mammutwood.com to the buyer.
 Thus, the following terms are defined as follows:

• Goods and services: Any product or service to be provided by the seller to the buyer.

• Order: An electronic document through which the buyer requests the purchase of goods or services presented in the offer of the online store www.mammutwood.com.

• Contract: The order confirmed by the seller (confirmation of an order can be done either by phone or electronically).

 ORDER REGISTRATION AND CONFIRMATION

 By placing an order (electronically or by phone) through the online store www.mammutwood.com, the buyer agrees to the communication method through which the seller conducts its operations (electronically or by phone).
 An order consists of the following:

• Goods or services found in the online store's offer mentioned above.

• Clear mentions regarding billing and delivery details, as well as other special notes.

• The buyer’s specifications.

 Placing an order (electronically or by phone) does not imply confirmation of the order and the contract. The full steps are as follows:

• Order registration: A unique number will be automatically generated for each registered order.

• Order processing by a sales agent within the working hours displayed on the Contact section of the website.

• Contract conclusion, represented by the issuance of an invoice on durable medium. Orders placed at the Vila Home Design showroom do not fall under O.G. 34/2014.

• Order delivery occurs after confirmation of the order and after delivery details are confirmed by the sales or delivery agent and the buyer.

 Messages automatically sent by the system do not confirm product availability in stock, nor do they confirm the conclusion of the sale-purchase contract. Orders are processed/registered, and only after the supplier confirms product availability in stock, will the orders be accepted and fulfilled.

 Note: Custom-made items may exceed the estimated delivery time depending on their complexity.

 PRODUCT PRICE AND STOCK
​
 Prices and product stock are updated at intervals ranging from 24 hours to 5 days. Prices from orders and proformas are valid for 3 days from the date of issuance.
 For custom-made products, a deposit of at least 50% of the product's value may be required.
 If prices or other details regarding products are incorrectly displayed ("derisory price," Art. 1665, para. 2 of the New Civil Code), including due to incorrect entry into the database, we reserve the right to CANCEL orders containing these products and to notify customers as soon as possible about the error.
The stock of products sold by the online store www.mammutwood.com is displayed as follows:

• IN STOCK: The product is available in the physical stock (subject to available stock) and can be picked up or delivered based on an online order, AFTER THE ORDER IS CONFIRMED (Order acceptance). Orders for products marked with "IN STOCK" will be honored in chronological order. All products listed with "IN STOCK" status have a limited quantity. Stock updates are made as stated above—consequently, situations may arise where a product ordered with "IN STOCK" status becomes unavailable if it has already been confirmed in a prior order.

• OUT OF STOCK: The product is no longer available either in the Mammut Wood Shop stock or in the supplier's stock. This information applies to products that were once in stock but will no longer be restocked until they disappear from all supplier offers with whom Mammut Wood Shop works.

• Available for Pre-order: Our products are made to order based on customer needs, meaning the production time may be up to 20 working days, depending on the quantity ordered and project complexity.

 PRODUCT PAYMENT

 Payments for products can be made by cash (at the physical location or by cash on delivery to the courier), bank transfer, credit card (via POS or online), Bitcoin, or by taking out a loan through one of our partner institutions.
 Amounts paid by online methods, such as credit card or Bitcoin, will be automatically blocked in the customer’s account by the payment processor and transferred to the bank account of www.mammutwood.com within approximately 72 hours. We want to emphasize that this process is automatic, without the intervention of any Mammut Wood Shop employees. Order confirmation will occur after verifying and confirming the payment.
 If orders cannot be fulfilled, the money will be refunded within a maximum of 5 working days from the client notification.

 Interchange Fee
​
 For clients paying with business/professional/corporate cards or cards issued outside Romania, an additional interchange fee of 2% of the order value will be applied. This fee is established by Visa and Mastercard and is charged based on their algorithm. More details can be found on the official Visa and Mastercard websites.
To offer competitive prices, we provide the option of paying by bank transfer or cash, in which case this fee will not be applied. If you opt for online payment with one of these types of cards (business, professional, corporate, or issued by a foreign bank), the interchange fee will be added to your order. If this fee is not automatically applied when placing an order, Mammut Wood Shop reserves the right to invoice this fee later.
 If you do not wish to pay this fee, we recommend using other payment methods such as "bank transfer/cash."
In the case of refunding/deblocking sums paid online (at the client's request or due to the inability to deliver the products), please contact the bank issuing your card, as, depending on the protocol you signed with the bank, the bank may unblock the amount within up to 30 days.

 PRODUCT DELIVERY

 Product delivery is done according to the details on this page:

 Delivery times from the above page apply from the moment the order is confirmed, excluding non-working days, and may vary from 2 hours to 30 days.
 For deliveries via courier service, it is recommended, and we insist, that you check the packaging and product integrity before accepting the goods to ensure they do not have physical damage caused by transport. It is also recommended to check the product in terms of specifications and accessories. In the case of any discrepancies, follow the steps below. It is recommended to perform the inspection in the presence of the courier at the time of receiving the order. If a non-conformity is identified, it must be documented in the report prepared between the courier and the customer, and the issue must be reported within 48 hours of reception to the email address: XXXXXX.
 For orders with parcel inspection, it is mandatory to check the integrity of the packaging, product, and accessories in the presence of the courier. Any subsequent complaint about product integrity will not be considered if the procedural steps mentioned above were not followed.
 Attention! In the case of parcels with damaged packaging (shock marks, cracks, breaks, contact with liquids) or suspected non-conformities, it is recommended and insisted upon that the product and its accessories be checked in the presence of the courier, and a report be made documenting any non-conformities, or the reception of the parcel/product should be refused.

 Neither party will be liable for failing to perform its contractual obligations if such failure is due to a force majeure event. Force majeure refers to an unforeseeable event beyond the control of the parties that cannot be avoided.
Terms and conditions for commercializing products on the vwww.mammutwood.com website can be modified by mutual agreement of the management of the company running the site. Modification proposals will be communicated in advance to all members of the management.
